a6. Norway. Statistics Norway publishes quarterly house price index by dwelling type and region. Statistics Norway gathers data from major real estate agencies. Quarterly time-series are available from 1992. The Norwegian Association of Real Estate (NEF) releases monthly price per square metre for the average home of about 100 m2. The statistics cover homes that are advertised on FIND, i.e. between 1/3 and 1/2 half of all homes sold in Norway during the course of a year. It extends back to 2002.
